Support Our Troops

Most of the Ft. Hood soldiers from Alpha Company of the 404th ASB have now deployed.  As an ongoing effort, supporters throughout Round Rock are focusing on several areas to show our care and concern..

1.        We want to supply them with cookies each month from August to April.  We are looking for people to help bake or package cookies and commit to at least one month. Look for our Troop Support table at this years National Night Out Celebration

2.        There is a special "Wish List" that we have just received (see below) and donations are very welcome, including cash.

3.        Notes of appreciation from home.

3.        We are looking for several people who either know calligraphy or have a very nice handwriting for another project for our Ft. Hood soldiers.

"Wish List" from Alpha Company Soldiers:

MALES- Gatorade packets, mattress cover, mouth wash, pillows, shower shoes, socks (green and white) Kool Aid packets, mixed nuts, snacks, shaving cream, razors, batteries (variety), tan t-shirts, cross word puzzle books, deodorant (degree) peppermints, chewing gum, foam mattresses, tuna and crackers, board games, writing paper, white tank top shirts ( all sizes) chap stick, body lotion, toilet paper, and "Carmex" lip balm.

FEMALES- Towels, socks (white ankle socks small sizes for females/black and green crew socks). Tan t-shirts for uniforms, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face scrub, panty liners, tampons, bedding, sheets, blankets, pillows, candy, snacks, razors, lady's shaving cream, body lotion, baby powder, foot powder, shower shoes, under shirts tank tops with no sleeves (small), Dodgers base ball stuff, Cowboys football stuff, tooth brushes, tooth paste, mouth wash, floss, hair ties, hair spray, gel, hand sanitizer, (travel size), "Crystal Light" packets, Gatorade packets, Kool-Aid packets, toilet tissue, hair brushes, card/board games, mattress covers, pens, paper and envelopes.  Special note:  Avoid any products with alcohol as a liquid ingredient (such as mouth wash and some hand sanitizers).
